Aarhus Central Station
A Take Over solution can combine several different formats to create a strong visual presence and high exposure to the station’s 183,000 weekly passengers.
With a unified visual presence throughout the iconic station building, a campaign at Aarhus Central Station can achieve a scale and visibility that is hard to overlook. The station’s architecture and high passenger flow create a strong wow-effect for the many thousands of people who move through the station every day.
Possible formats in a Take Over
- Ceiling banner visible from large parts of the station area
- Wall banners placed along both sides of the station hall
- Banners applied to the glass panels above the entrance doors
Combining several formats makes it possible to create a cohesive visual story while ensuring broad and relevant audience reach, where the campaign becomes a visible part of everyday life for the many people passing through Aarhus Central Station each day.
Inspiration
At Aarhus Central Station, multiple formats can be combined to create a strong visual presence in one of the country’s busiest station buildings.
Together with Tobias Rahim, 3 created the cinematic piece “Close – no matter how far away”, exploring the paradox of how technology can both create distance and remove it at the same time.
In close collaboration with 3, we brought the campaign to life as a Take Over at Aarhus Central Station.

Brand activation
To complement the classic outdoor formats, campaigns can also be extended with brand activation, such as event space or sampling at the station. This creates opportunities for direct interaction with the audience and brings the brand even closer to travellers.
