When Technology Brings Us Closer Together

When Technology Brings Us Closer Together

3 and Tobias Rahim have come together to create “Close – no matter how far away”, a cinematic piece that explores the paradox of how technology can both create distance – and bring us closer at the same time.

Inspired by Tobias Rahim’s own life, the work tells a story about longing, love and the connections that can still be felt even when we are not physically together.

At 3, the hope is that the campaign will inspire exactly this kind of reflection.

“When life separates us, technology can be the invisible thread that keeps us connected. That is exactly the feeling we hope to evoke. ‘Close – no matter how far away’ is a story about presence, longing and connections that can still be felt,” says Marie-Louise Back, COO at 3 Denmark.

A cinematic piece deserves a powerful stage

The film is also launched as a film, which made placements where the film poster could gain strong visibility and attract attention a central part of the media plan. Outdoor therefore plays a key role in creating awareness and curiosity around the work.

“We don’t see the campaign as a traditional commercial, but rather as a cinematic piece. That ambition requires a media presence that can truly be felt. Outdoor allows us to create a strong presence in the cityscape and clearly signals that this is something worth noticing.” says Emmy Håpnes, Manager Consumer Marketing, 3 Denmark.

Take Over på Aarhus Banegård and Copenhagen Central Transfer Tunnel

The cinematic narrative has therefore been translated into a strong visual presence across some of the country’s most prominent outdoor locations. With a unified visual presence throughout the iconic station building in Aarhus, the campaign achieves a scale and visibility that is hard to overlook, creating a genuine wow effect for the many thousands of people passing through every day.

Together with the Transfer Tunnel at Copenhagen Central Station, the locations represent two af Denmark’s strongest transport hubs.

“Our ambition was simple. We wanted the strongest placements in the country. Aarhus Central Station and Copenhagen Central Station are two of Denmark’s most important transport hubs. Here we can create maximum visibility, 100% SOV and a real wow effect.” says Nadia Falch, Campaign Manager, 3 Denmark.

At the same time, the placements ensure broad and relevant audience reach, where young, professionally active and culturally engaged Danes encounter the campaign as part of their everyday movements.

When strategy, creativity and placement come together

At Bauer Media Outdoor, we work closely with our clients to find the solution that best supports their objectives.

The dialogue always begins with understanding the need:

  • What should the campaign achieve?
  • Who is the target audience?
