New bus shelters with sedum roofs contribute positively to biodiversity in Furesø Municipality.
With a powerful platform that reaches the population where they live and go about their daily lives comes great opportunities, but also great responsibility. That's why we have a clear goal that our presence should contribute to improving and future-proofing cities in Scandinavia. We do this by continuously investing in infrastructure and projects that contribute to making the outdoor media a platform that contributes positively. Most recently, we installed new bus shelters with sedum roofs in Furesø municipality.

Dorrit Jakobsen Gundstrup, Head of Department in Road, Traffic and Green Transition, Furesø Municipality, says:
"At Furesø Municipality, we are pleased to now be able to put the new beautiful bus shelters into use. The sedum roofs are both decorative and contribute directly to the biodiversity of all of us. We take the climate very seriously, and the new screens are one of several initiatives to make it even more attractive for our citizens to use public transport and thus reduce greenhouse gas emissions."
Sedum roofs contribute positively to cities in a number of ways; green roofs are beautiful, contribute to biodiversity and retain rainwater, which therefore does not burden the sewer system. In addition, the new bus shelters provide seating and shelter from the weather for citizens waiting for the bus.
