DSB chooses Bauer Media Outdoor as its new strategic partner

As of January 1, 2026, Bauer Media Outdoor has entered into a 10-year strategic partnership with DSB, granting the media company exclusive rights to outdoor advertising solutions across DSB’s stations throughout Denmark.

“We are incredibly proud of this partnership with DSB. It marks a milestone that allows us to expand our digital network and offer even more innovative and creative solutions to our clients,” says Karsten Rask, CEO of Bauer Media Outdoor.

Bauer Media Outdoor is now launching the largest digital expansion in the history of the Danish outdoor advertising industry. In the coming years of the new contract, a significant number of new digital units will be established across the country. This initiative marks a shift in the outdoor medium - from traditional poster formats to modern digital solutions - in line with the development already seen in markets such as Sweden and the United Kingdom.

From January 1, 2026, Bauer Media Outdoor will be the only provider with a nationwide digital network verified by Kantar-Gallup, cementing the company’s position as a digital frontrunner in the industry. Coverage will continue to expand as the network grows, and as of January 1, 2026, Bauer Media Outdoor’s digital screens will already be present in more than 40 municipalities. The digital screens support full-motion content, giving advertisers the opportunity to work with dynamic, engaging messages, high creativity, and flexible activation.

I expect that in the coming years we will see a similar shift in the distribution of ad spend between DOOH and traditional OOH as we’ve seen in our neighboring countries, where DOOH is both significantly more widespread and more frequently used,” says Claes Braagaard, Investment Director at Omnicom Media Group, in the announcement.
